I shold be able to deal with this on my own but nope, I have problems getting my g3258 booting on Impact. following this guide and I should be able to get it working http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?48855-Must-Do-s-for-making-4790K-work-with-Maximus-VI-Motherboards BUT I cannot install "Intel Management Engine Interface V9.5.15.1730 for Windows 32/64bit 7 & 32/64bit 8 & 32/64bit 8.1.(WHQL)"... it simply gives me "one or more device drivers could not be installed" every time, on two different win7 64 os. If you want 9.xx driver latest is : Intel® Management Engine Interface(MEI) Driver 9.5.24.1790 If you want 10.xx driver latest is : Intel® Management Engine Interface(MEI) Driver 10.0.25.1006 WHQL Btw, uninstall previous driver first.
