arnavvr Posted April 7, 2016 Share Posted April 7, 2016 Not sure if this is in the right section. If not, Mods please move. I swapped out CPUs on my Rampage Extreme from a E5200 to a E8600, no post. Thinking that I needed a BIOS Update, I put the E5200 back in the socket with no post. What I going on? If there are none, explore a little more around the board, particularly around the VRM and smoothing cap (on the back of the board, under the socket) area.
