driftypuddle6 Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 hi I tried to overclock my system Core i3 6100 with an MSI Z170-A Pro motherboard but no matter what I did it just wont over clock used MSI Z170-A Pro Non-K OC BIOS 191 with setting of OC set expert Betarun set NOC CPU Core Voltage set 1.325 CPU Ring set 37 CPU Core Clock set 122 DRAM Frequ set 2608 MHZ Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) set Enable Any idea's? Many Thanks if your setting 122 bclk that could be your problem. I couldnt do that much last night. Start at 110 and work your way up. I couldnt believe it but I guess some of these chips can be really bad. What cooling are you using, because you could probably bump the vcore a bit. der8auer Posted April 29, 2016 Share Posted April 29, 2016 What you have to do: - Remove PSU cabel - Remove BIOS battery and wait a bit put it back together and adjust only these settings: - Beta Runner to NOC - Load XMP - Set BCLK - Adjust RAM Frequency - Set CPU Core Voltage Nothing else and apply the setting.
