Cheap Samsung E die 2133MHz clocks to 4000MHz

Hi I found a cheap E die kit that seems to do nice (not top notch).

It is a kit from Samsung as a manufacturer with E die on it.

When I looked for the chip codes I found that these are on some 3866MHz and 4GHz sets (1 from G.Skill).

The kit is rated as 2133MHz with E die.

After some tests I found that it is possible to boot (to Win 7) at 4GHz with 1,45v.

These sticks go by €20 a piece. So in my book this is a bargain...

Just to share this with you.

Note: Since my OCF has some issues I won't be able to test much more at this point.

I have 8 of them and can confirm consistency of clocks, although TRCD/TRP limit on them is terrible

4133MHz doesn't seem to boot, but I managed to do one more.

3733MHz C13 with 1,6v (didn't try any lower voltage).

Edit: I also didn't try 1T yet.

3866MHz @C12 works as well (1.78v in bios is needed/overvolts a little).

1T works as well at this speed.

I tried my cheap E die on Z170m OCF and it seems to be running better then on my OCF (as expected).

4GHZ C13 PI32M stable at 1.68v in bios (2T runs with less voltage).

No OS tweaks done here.

I will try more later.

Another update.

Timings are getting better every day.

Note that tWR was at 5, the Asrock tool somehow doesn't get it right. Bios tells me I am correct.

Now for 4133MHz...

Now this is not bad at all. My best E-die needed 1.89V for 2000 12-20-20 on air.

When you say it I know it is a good kit :). I could do 12-20-20 as well but I didn't get it stable yet.

I am in doubt because I really want to run my b die sets now. But I really want to know if it gets any better as well.

Somehow I found it's sweetspot because I needed much more volts before.

Edit: This kit is the onlyone I tested. So I didn't even bin a few kits before I started.

I ran 4k 13-20-20 with 2.03V on big OCF, but needed 2T from 3866 up. 3800C12 1T was a sweet spot for me. But great sticks you found there.

Nice, mine didn't like that on the big board.

But I will try since it is driving my daily 6700k (golden on air, one of the worst on cold).

Edit: my bad about the 6700k. Seems good on ln2 as well. Never fully tested tho...

It ran 6.6GHz in a quick test. Oops
