Arch-reviewer Sean Kalinich over on TweakTown.com has now spent plenty of time getting up close and personal with our G1.Assassin board. The upshot is a rating of 91%, and a ‘Must Have Editor’s Choice Award’:

“…the G1.Assassin is anything but "just a motherboard". For starters, you are getting the built in value of a $100 audio card. Then on top of that you get the KillerNic E2100 (another $100 or so). That leaves you with a $330 product. For a Three-way SLI enabled X58 motherboard with good overclocking potential, that is not a bad deal at all. We were quite impressed with the way the Assassin handled our gaming tests. True, the frame rates were not over the top, but we were given a great gaming experience.”
