Overclocking asrock p4i65g

Hey I have a question.

I have a asrock mobo p4i65g with a Intel pentium4 3.0 Ghz cpu.

In my bios I can clock my cpu frequency up to 300 Mhz, but when I go higher then -+ 240 Mhz my pc won't even start up or will get stuck in windows.

First I thought it was the cooling but if I run a game (assassin's creed on high gfx) my cpu degrees won't go higher then 61.

Now my frequency is at 233 Mhz wich give me a 3.5 Ghz cpu.

Now is my question is it possible to get it up to 300 Mhz?

I don't know if you can take it up to 300 X 15=4.5GHz, it's up to what your CPU can do.

Disable all "Spread Spectrums" in bios and lock the PCI buss, also make sure your ram is not the bottle neck for your system by setting a lower divider and i think you will be able to go a lot higher than you are now.:)
