Crew Turrican Posted March 21, 2009 Crew Share Posted March 21, 2009 then it also wouldn't run on win xp since we are using directx 9.0c there. the future dx version are backwards compatible don't know what's wrong with your vista then. t4ct1c47
The only limitation in running 3DMark01SE on Vista is the fact that you can only use one GPU. This is down to the fact that nVidia's and AMD's drivers only allow for multiple GPU's to be used on DirectX 9 and 10 applications. As 3DMark01SE uses DirectX 8.1 only one GPU can be used effectively. Enableing SLi or Crossfire can actually lower your score when using Vista.
