The memory is using a 29.33 divider for memory, special just for IB which SB didn't have.
Hah, that print-screen screenshot looks like it's made by Coolaler :D

Share CPU thomas and I'll share you bios :p
Nice work Sin, big performance gain vs eg 2666 with tighter timings ? VDimm used ? Seems a solid board/bios by the GB team ( don't tell Dino , coz he still thinks I'm biased )
arent you an Asus guy goofball? :D
who started that rumour anyway that's hilarious!

it would have been more authentic with hyperpi result showing 1M and 1 thread :D
nice - another part of oc gets more interesting again...RAM lists will get some updates soon :D

not easy beat BD and Liano with IB samples, but maybe retail...
on IB dual channel clocks much better than single in my tests.

:D only vendors and some close Gskill friends got the 2666kit till now (99.99% sure) :D
happy to see sin is using this kit too.
2666 is no big deal for BFR / Samsung D anyway :)

darn so I didn't even enter the G.Skill friends zone either... first Gigabyte and now G.SKill, sigh
you can be my friend :) but you have to stay in the friend zone, no more. :D

Heard that Gskill and Team Group ready to release their 2800s.
Unreleased WR is 3100+ with 2X2Gb Hynix ln'ed
I dont have a friendzone, but, I know massman!
*And to the topic, not bad, seems the 4GB density is taking form.

Hy !
Has anyone ever managed to use PSC 3GA chips on Z77 ?
there are different PSC:
X-series on air will do 32M at 1200 7-11-(7/8/9)-27 with 1.70-1.85V with best samples capable of 1300 9-12-9. Under LN2 with 1.85-2.00V you can hope to do 1200-1250 with 6-11-(6/7/8)-27, but they say that 8-11-x is faster than 6-11-x so there might be no point.
T-series are crap, they barely do 2133 9-11-9 so not worth trying.
The A3G-P stuff with white stripes on IC sides is usually worse than A3G-A without stripes.

8-11 is fast.. coz of bclk[?]
I tried the T-series, they could do 2400 pretty easy, but higher than that no. I do however have one of the worst kits tho, barley coudl do stock timings on Z68 and SB.

link not working because XS is down atm, however that is an excellent thread full of information.
i really don't understnad how XS can go down for so long!
eva2000 could fix that in a heart beat but charles chooses not to get his help, too bad
ive noticed that a lot of ppl are not posting anything on there any more, it seems to be going a bit stale lately, not sure why. Ivy should have exploded with things but you can hardly find any threads...wtf
Censorship + registration fee do miracles, Dino :)
there is a registration fee now? but what about all the members that are registered now? why would it be so uneventful....
censorship???
I had multiple accounts banned there after pointing out marketing or product flaws in public ... coincidence?
As for registration - last time I visited (a couple of months ago), it was something like $1 to register.
were you bashing companies or just pointing out flaws? im surprised anyone would ban if you just had a healthy discussion on poor marketing practices by companies.

you are right there is a registration fee for new members, and it seemed like everything was starting to stabilize and now this lol.
oh well, hopefully they get it back up soon.
and I never even knew you had a handle there Sam, that sucks about the multiple account bans as well, I usually find what you post informative.
lol multiple accounts lol.
Sorry you got banned, if it makes you feel better I got banned from extreme overclocking(back in 2005) because I posted a link to my review at TPU when I reviewed for TPU. Also hardforum like a year ago, I laughed a little and then didn't really care as i can't stand the black and red colors, i wish I was color blind when I see his site.
But yea you have to pay $1 at XS if you are a new member, it keeps a LOT of people from posting. I mean if you look at OCN everyday in my Z77X mega thread i have like 5 new members with 1 post posting in the thread asking for help, granted half of them are wondering why their old installations of X58 and P55 wont work with Z77 LOL.
