The quadro is different to the geforce.

i presume this competition is for nvidia GEFORCE 4 series.

some quadro cards have other ram/clocks than the geforce cards. e.g. gddr3 instead of ddr2.
but in the case of the geforce4 series there's no difference. ;)
but i think it's geforce 4 only, because otherwise it would say geforce4/quadro4 ;)

Beforce GF FX era and later Quadros was same, and used same reference PCB as GF. First ES geforce3 and geforce4's was markes as NV20GL/NV25GL (GL - mean pro version , quadro ones) with GF bios-es.

hmm.. a mx400/440 would probably score 1/3 of a GF4 Ti....maybe just 1/4. But I may remember wrong here, might just as well take a peek at the database :)

the geforce 4 mx cards would be no good idea to use. since they have no shaders, they can only run the first test in 3dmark03 (dx7).

That's clear now :) One more stupid question

I have Quadro4 900XGL board (1:1 Ti4600 clone in every single detail except GPU). And I have some 4600 and 4400's with damaged parts. I can replace Quadro GPU to 4400/4600 one, and replace memory chips to faster ones. Card will be tuned 4600. Will scored results be valid for this challenge? I will share every and single part of work done, of course.

If the GPU = Ti4600 and Bios = Ti4600, then category = Ti4600.

So yes :)

Turrican, just want gold badly :-D. I'm electronics engineer, so messing with chips and solder is my beloved hobby and work at same time.
