Hi to all

Every day many peoples submit their oc results and join this global league

Because they love overclock and working by high freqs :)

but sometimes we see that our friends get banned! because of FAKE result possibility!!

it is so easy for admins to hit one key! and ban an overclocker...

but it is hard for us to show the result is not fake :(

So, feel free (plz) say your opinions about this result:

The value of the die size is due to language settings (we use persian as language) and appear sometimes.that is not an artifact. another example

edit : another example with a diffrent language

Why are you waiting for my decision? I do not moderate submissions. :)

thank you richba5tard

can you reply my question as a hwbot member (not as admin)? :)

Interesting. Notice the text is un affected by said artifact. The lower case "P" is still fully visible.

thank you my friend for joining the Discussion :)

do you say the text must be changed?

In the past i also seen (some of my) Screenshots like this in 3DMark and PCMark05... with pointed or lined artifacts. Coloured black or white... i think its a effect of too high overclocking with a Driver who allowed very high clocks. These artifacts are rare but possible, when the clocks too high and you bring the 3DMark (CPU-Z, GPU-Z)-Windows in Position.

I search one hour in my Database, but i can't find a good example. :-(

My Opinion: no Fake!

thank you Alriin :)

I remember your pcmark result by black lines and we had long conv about this issue...

(mybe some one deleted it conv and result?!)

anyway, i have another question (from everybody) :

we have new reporting way in HWBOT.ORG??

Results were reported to the crew, but not through the normal channels.

so team capitans do not receive any report pm (and email), is it true?

when a submition (s) did not reported in normal way, what could we do??

another note:

admins do not ban every one by his first fake result (if we say this result is fake)!

so, i want one of the admins (else massman) to reply me (and my team members) our friend (Overclockers) why got banned?

As I know, they do ban with the first result - this happened about a week ago.

And won't believe how many should (are to) be banned :D

Sorry, I must explain beter:

if anyone has reported your submition, will you get banned?? (really no!)

at this problem we know the results are not fake!

we wanted to provide orb valid link for submitions but did not accept it :(

Nope, a reported submission is only a reported submission. If it's really fake then don't complain.

Try to show your arguments to the moderators and admin. They are not fans of conversation though :D sometimes respond and sometimes quickly. But only sometimes.

The best we can do - is make our efforts not in cheating but in cheat-proofing. If everyone would share their ideas the competition would only win of this.

I got confused my friend...

can you say your opinion about this 3dmark01 result (post #1)? is that fake?? (y/n)

be sure, if my friends results were fake we did not pursue this issue for 5-6 months...

we did not receive any good reply from admins (massman!) so had to open a topic in forum

If you find some other submissions that have this artifact, drop me (or some other mod) a PM or post it here. If it's a bug that happens when you push the cards, then there should be more of these.

dear knopflerbruce,

do you say we show more artifacted results? (but massman noticed just this result)

anyway, can you say us this result is fake or photoshoped?

score is ok and correct for that freq

tnks

edit:

i found more detail

our email:

Anyway, if this result is "questionable" we must receive report or

notification, am i right?

we did not receive any email from hwbot crews for "overclockers" results...

by first questionable result user account must be removed?

massman's email:

This "white line artifact" is present in many, many screenshots ...

our email:

if "Overclockers" wanted to submit Fake results, surely worked more

with photoshop to got better pics!

dear knopflerbruce you say if artifacted results be more its bug! but massman has banned my friend because of more artifacted results :(

massman went R&D team, so we want another admin or moderator attend this issue

I can't say certainly. I've seen similar things being a result of high compression JPEG (but the colour is strange for this in this case) or high overclocking. OTOH it can be screen editing done quite lame.

As Mr. Scott mentioned, the letter "p" is over the white line and this makes me think it's a API bug that could be caused by video memory. Except that video memory isn't any close to super-frequency, 1100 is not quite high. May be a memory controller in the GPU, but this I leave to experts, I'm lame in this. The letter makes me think it's an API bug like this:
