Corsair DDR3-2133C9DF dual channel @DDR3-2200Mhz 1.965v I'm surprised how easy it was to achieve a new personal best dual channel DDR3 max frequency of DDR3-2200Mhz at just 1.965v bios set vdimm Seems with 16x memory multiplier, both Memset 4.0 Beta2 and CPU Tweaker tool can't report the right memory clock frequency. Had no problems with 14x memory multiplier. Vcore = 1.05v DRAM Voltage = 1.965v CPU VTT = 1.48v + 0.075v ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My first Super Pi 32M bench at sub 8min with Core i7 3836A756 on Thermalright Ultra 120 air cooling!
Had to turn off Hyperthreading to reduce the heat output and had to go back to dual channel kit, 2x1GB Corsair DDR3-2133C9DF Dominators as it's only memory I have capable of up to DDR3-2200Mhz Super Pi 32M stable. With HT off, load temps were around 74-86C. Powermate wattage meter read ~290 watts idle and 305 watts load for Super Pi. I tried running Everest benchmark report (all tests) and measured ~530 watts load drawn from the wall but system rebooted @4610Mhz For comparisons sake, at 20x133 = 2.666Ghz stock, Powermate wattage meter reads around 125 watts idle with FX5200 PCI video card installed. Room temp = 24.5C System specs
@4610Mhz I nearly managed to boot into windows to take screen shot at 21x221 = 4638Mhz, but guess either heat or BCLK ceiling was being reached. So settled for 21x220 = 4610Mhz ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Some 3Dmark/PCmark Benchmarks still on air cooling
System specs
Powermate wattage meter - system power drawn from wall
All personal best single video card results (besides 3dmark2003) 3dmark Vantage = TBD 3dmark06 = 27,751 3dmark05 = 36,324 3dmark2003 = 87,280 PCmark05 = 20,977 PCmark Vantage = 8,634 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
