First impressions from new toy - Sapphire HD 7970 Toxic 6 Gb ES:



first bios - 1000/1450 Mhz
second bios - 1150/1500 Mhz











For 3DMark11 - 1300/1900 on air stock with 1,27v on GPU and 1,63v on vMem.

No heatsink on mosfets? Nice VRm. Are those inductors at the back? I wonder if they've heard of 50A inductors lol

I missed the picture of the heatsink. Interesting that they don't use alot of capacitors.

Not Bad! but why so many coils there? One phase, 2 coils and one cap? strange setup ...

ps. i am stupid, they aro not coils but heatsinks on mosfets from other side ...
