highest spec I've seen is DDR700 (PC5600) by Patriot.
highest DDR1 frequency ever is around 420MHz (DDR840)

Depends on memory controller and bios as well. You can't be sure before you try :P. Good luck.
DDR-700 is easily achievable even with my Adata Vitesta 566.

The 5600 sticks are 2T rated as well.

I have the 5000 DFI edition sticks here
