is the usage of advanced options allowed? Used it one time but after that I saw someone's post saying advanced options are not allowed.

actually i don't know. imho messing around with the "threads" stuff shouldn't be allowed, but choosing the fastest calculation mehtod (sse, sse2) should.

however wprime sometimes show better times with thread count set to higher value than the core count. And the thread count changes are allowed for wprime. Can someone of result moderators make this clear for ucbench please?

I see the same situation as with wPrime. If your CPU is strange enough that scales best being loaded with a bunch of threads - why not? The algorithm doesn't change. Should be even more fun on dual socket boards
