As far as I know the codes to lock the BCLK of the non-K Kaby Lakes have changed to the past codes of the Skylakes.

However Gigabyte just answered to my question if the non-K KabyLakes could be overclocked on a GA-Z270-HD3P just with:
“Hello,

The board allow to adjust BCLK with non-K CPU. ”

I will receive that board early next week with a G4560 (the i5 7400 was out of stock) and will test it If that fails -I have a feeling based on the quality of the answer it will-I will try a ASRock Z270 with Hyper BCLK Engine II and test that and post results here.

Not with a out of box Gigabyte Z270 HD3P.

I am highly disappointed: not even the BCLK can be adjusted, it is locked totally :'(

So board goes back to seller... Next ASRock...

No need to waste your money on it, it's not possible to unlock Kaby Lake non-K at this time.
