You're using a D2 chip, right?

These fixes are only for D2 CPUs.

BTW What is this PLL overvoltage 'problem'? I've not had any PLL voltage issues so far.

I love this thread ...the retail cpu that cant previously pass 4.9ghz can now do 5.15Ghz with just 1.464v on core !

No one knows what it is exactly (apart from Intel I guess). Rumours go it's not even a voltage, but some MSR setting that got adjusted.

I still cannot get my UD4 with the modded F6x bios to make any difference at all. I am using one of several F5 bioses available on GBT ftp. None of those makes any difference either.
Does anyone here have a UD4 we can compare bios settings with to see if I cant get a bit more out of mine?
Hard wall at 4.7. Completely stable, nice and cool, temps around 65C max (Intel Burn Test). If i try 4.8 i usually end up with an auto reflash from the backup BIOS.

I tested the UD4 and went from 4890 to 5288MHz.

The F5 bioses don't have the fix, I think. The F6x is the one with the override setting (which needs to be enabled)

Yes, and for my chip at least, it does nothing! Must just have one of those chips that wont go. Any other changes in the bios you are making?

Vtt/PLL?
