must say that the 4 2GB 1866 c7 hyper modules I have here do 2133 7-8-7-21-80-1T @ 1.75V on Rampage IV Extreme (ok, other board, dut still hypers on x79)

With the 3960X ES chip I had, using Elpida BBSE and Hypers I needed around 0.15V more to achieve same freq/timings compared to s1155. From what I observe on forums, in most cases the situation is slimiar, however, I've seen some examples (by OPB and Hazzan) when MHz/volt scaling with Elpida was similar to one of 1155.
With PSC and Hynix, there are no such issues.

sin0822 - yup, 2200C7s are "good" (old) PSC, you shouldn't have sold them if you needed s2011 benching mems

well i only had one kit so for LGA2011 wasn't so good. But with Z77 and Ivy oh man I now wish i had kept them knowing what i know now haha. i have new mems coming soon, so I hope they are decent. Thanks for the clarification tho I didn't want to rip off the heatspreader

Meh, hyper. A good PSC kit is better than a decent Hyper kit on LGA2011.

off course, but I had them lying around, so why not test them, I'm using PSC now, no way hypers can do 2400 9-11-9-27-1T @ 1.65V
