of course, 4 Core is still 4 Core, but on 6.7 GHz maybe catch up that 4,8 GHz SB-E

I am dont know, but I am not sure that 6,7 ghz possible in vantage, but if it possible 45-47k in cpu tests cannot help in overall

for 3d marks is sb-e better allways, have lot of PCI-E lanes etc ... but for all cpu related benchmarks is Ivy clear winner

Yeah, that looks amazing. Can anybody explain why these chips clock so good? The difference to sb+sb-e is impressive.

a lot of angry 3dmarks.

Why they clock so good? consider that the transistor is the basic building block of the CPU, and that it has now been changed might have something to do with it. I don't think cold has much to do with it as the article said something about DICE, but idk how much that is believable.

New type of transistor runs at a lower voltage.
So for this CPU to have 1.9V might be the equivalent of SB at 2V+
So something in this design might mean the power/voltage/temp curve is more lenient to additional voltage
