CATEGORIES

Lords of Overclocking 2012 is one of the year’s most anticipated contests bringing together the top overclocking talent from around the world. Lords of Overclocking is your chance to compete for the final three places at the prestigious MSI Master Overclocking Arena event in Taipei, Taiwan later this year. There are three places up for grabs, one from each of the following categories:

- WINNER 1 - Highest 3DMark 11 Overall score using the Performance preset. You must use a single MSI graphics card and a MSI mainboard.
- WINNER 2 - Highest 3DMark 11 Physics score, a test of pure CPU performance. You must use an MSI mainboard and graphics card.
- WINNER 3 - Highest 3DMark 11 Graphics score using the Performance preset, a measure of GPU performance. You must use an MSI mainboard and MSI brand graphics cards. There is no limit to number of GPUs in this category.

Don’t miss your last chance to qualify for MSI MOA 2012!

RULES

- The contest runs from 11:00 GMT July 27th to 11:00 GMT August 23rd. Contest weeks change every Monday, 11:00 GMT.
- On the fourth contest week, only the current top 20 overclockers on the leaderboard are allowed to keep sending new results to the contest.
- Entries must use commercially available components. Engineering samples or other bespoke hardware components are not allowed.
- All the MOA finalists (including winners and their teammates) cannot be fulltime/contract staff of ANY MB/VGA company.
- The grand prize will be awarded to the highest overall score in each category.
- Weekly prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring contestant in each week.
- Each contestant is only eligible to win one weekly prize. A contestant who qualifies for multiple prizes will win the Grand Prize or the first weekly prize he/she qualified for. Additional prizes will pass to the next qualifying contestant in score order.
- All winners, including weekly winners, will be announced after the competition ends.
- Please read the complete contest terms and conditions..

HOW TO ENTER

- No purchase necessary. You can download 3DMark 11 free to enter the contest.
- Make sure you are using the latest versions: 3DMark 11 v1.0.3 and SystemInfo v4.9 with Futuremark approved drivers. If your system supports it, Lucid Virtu MVP HyperFormance should be disabled.
- Run the benchmark to get your score, then submit your result to 3dmark.com. Remember to sign in or register so we can contact you if you are a winner. Entries must not be marked private. Scores shown as invalid are not eligible for prizes.
- There is no limit to the number of entries, enter as many times as you want!
- Follow the contest on Facebook or in our forums.

^^

Whoa, interesting rules there! One can enter from 3 different ways , well thought Futuremark!

Btw, if Futuremark allow tesselation options to be disabled(which is unlikely ), this should be a good battle between GTX 680 Lightning and HD 7970 Lightning, too bad the Afterburner Extreme for GTX 680 still not released until now..
