Default 4x HD 7970 + i7 3960X 5.5 GHz = fun and power :D
Hi guys,
this weekend I've got the chance to bench with 4x 7970 and Sb-E


Setup:
-Core i7 3960X @ 5.53 GHz (Stepping C2 / -50°C / 1.56V)
-ASUS Rampage IV Extreme
-Kingston HyperX Genesis Quad Channel 2400 MHz 8 Gb (da ottimizzare, lavoravano sotto le specifiche di default)
-4x HD 7970 ad aria
-Enermax Maxrevo 1350W

Measured power: 1160W

Nice! Results seem okay too.

3DMark11 is a little low, though. Using the latest WHQL + v1.0.3 ?

Yap, but probably the VGAs are nost so stable...as during the run before i set 50 Mhz lower on VGas and I got better scores...so too hot probably.

Yeah cards tend to go hot and spicy when squeezed in 3 and 4-way on air - often loosed some points myself in certain benches.
the vantage und UH DX11 looks very tasty anyway good job!
