Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 OC edition photos

Alright, custom cards are starting to pop up. The question is ... when will we actually see results?!

The first customized GeForce GTX 680 are inbound to many technology websites. The initial ones have started to arrive at Guru3D.com as well, below some photo's of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 OC edition.

The card comes with a custom made PCB that is armed with Gigabyte's durable component selection. Cooling will be based on the new WindForce cooler, which i can say works pretty darn well. The two power connectors consist out of a 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe PEG connector giving the card a little extra breathing room for overclocking.

The card's base clock frequency is set at 1071 MHz while the memory runs stock.

looking at the backside of the pcb, this is basicly a reference design, but with normal 8+6pin PCI-E power connectors, and maybe the full 5-phases in place. Not that special

yeah that's exactly what it is. an extra phase is helpful but still a stock design pretty much. Not sure on 680 but on 7970OC that extra phase is very helpful, it gives it that kick the card needs and no dramas with mosfets popping like reference cards

SOC will be different

Dino, can you please give us (or me? ) a teaser on when we can expect the SO... I myself will be waiting for SOC to hit the market.
