Video: Going Subzero - Bonus Lesson: VGA Insulation

A few days ago, we already linked you to Vivi's 'Going Subzero' videos. In the previous episodes, he showed you how to get started with liquid nitrogen cooling. In this one, Vivi demonstrates how to prepare your graphics card for subzero extreme overclocking. Interesting video, recommended!

(ps: hilarious moment around 1:46!)

LOL The cat is hilarious.

I fold paper towels over 4 or 5 times, slice them with a knife the size of the PCIe connection, then put the connector through that slice, a half inch sticks out behind the vid card, a couple inches in front of the vid card to cover the entire bottom of the pot... Any melt that runs down, catches on the paper towel.

My insulation method is also completely different, but everyone has their own way. Nice video.

Hahah thanks dudes,

my cat does nothing all day but when i make a video she is suddenly very interested.

Saito For cpu overclocking i think most pastes will be fine, its only when you move to heave VGA's like gtx580 and above that you would need really nice paste.

Deepcool should be ok
