Nice marketing, but it's wrong. Still 8.5MHz missing for the "Intel world record frequency" as far as I know. For now it's still owned by Asus...

i did the post and used HWBOT database to research memory frequency records. HWBOT is the only site as far as im concerned that provides due process to validate scores.....

the first Intel platform based result come up with cookie's submission therefore it is a platform world record and current platform at that. i see no problem with it

A lot of scores aren't posted at HWBot, although they're perfectly fine, validated by CPU-Z and made by reputable members of the OC community.

He's got you guys there... the CPU-Z database should be the reference for this, not HWbot.

i used to reference from CPUz in the past but it's been on so many occasions that you come across dodgy submissions that i dont bother looking over there any more because i just dont know if it's something that can be trusted or not. i might have cleaned up since as it's been years since i went there to check the scores out. at least with hwbot you have a lot of eyes on the scores and it if it's dodgy it will get picked apart pretty quick. i'll edit to reflect the score, thanks Sam!
