Gyrock from Japan sets new overall record for 3DMark11 Performance

With AMD updating their driver package to Catalyst version 13.2, it seems the Radeon HD 7970 is getting another small boost for the 3DMark11 benchmark. Gyrock from Japan put together a 4xGPU CrossFire system, combining 4 7970 Lightning graphics cards and an Intel Core i7 3960X at almost 5.6GHz, to set a new all-time high! The newest top score here at HWBOT is now 33789 points, which is about 600 points higher than the previous record. The most impressive part about the score is probably that the graphics cards are still on stock cooling! I wonder what the score will be once people start using liquid nitrogen on the gpus as well ...

Congratulations!
