There's little info in his profile, but the wPrime checksum is okay. I think he's using multiple X5340's.

It's still strange... Xeon quadcores are only available at socket 771 now, and s771 is only made in dual-cpu setups. If you check his screenshot (http://www.hwbot.org/signature.img?i...22&thumb=false), you can see it reports as being socket P (478), which is a mobile platform (santa rosa). Furthermore: CPU-z shows stepping 9, revision E0, as "normal" Xeon quadcores report as stepping 7, revision B3.
I really would like to see more information on this setup: is it really a quad-cpu setup? Or is it a new revision that scores so high, even in dual-cpu? With the current stepping and 2.4GHz (9x266) in a 2 cpu x quad core setup, those scores are impossible. |

bump, his scores are hugely bugged or there's a problem identifying how many cpu's he's got.
Maybe he has a quad setup but 5340's are only capable of DP. Need a way to select number of CPU's/cores used maybe? edit Look at reported voltage and number of CPU's reported by Wprime. L2 reports incorrectly in CPU-Z as well. Last edited by STEvil; 10-26-2007 at 19:38. |
