Image storage failure
Last night we suffered from a image storage failure between 1am and 7am CEST due to power outage in the datacenter.
This, together with a flacky backup script, had the unfortunate effect that screenshots accessed between this timeframe where deleted from the storage. About 3000 images (±0.5% of total amount of images) were affected. We are trying to restore as many as possible, but as a complete backup of the screenshots was not possible (too big, not enough storage) we don't have high hopes. : ( If you notice only the thumbnails of your screenshots are working, you will need to reupload them. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Noooo, what happen with the submissions if its screen shot is lost?
And please, people, do not report any entry for lack of information (ss missing) until this inconvenience has been solved. (Save work for moderators)

Let me get this straight, if no-one looked at my scores during that timeframe, then nothing bad happened to them?

Indeed.
Problematic images are related to submissions made in the past few days or very popular submissions. I'm trying to restore them, but with half a million images it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

Good news, I will probably be able to restore a fair amount of images that where lost. It will take quite some time to solve though as I will need to write a restore utility program.
